This certificate program will give you the skills to gain employment within an aged care environment. This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation guidelines and service plans. Study this course and learn how to work effectively with older people, participate in the implementation of care plans, provide support to patients and follow WHS safety procedures. These workers carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged care setting or carry out activities elated to an individualised plan.
